Maria Hamidi

Maria is the principal psychologist at PsychMind. Maria is a psychologist with over 10 years of experience providing assessment, evidence-based counselling, and reports in the private practice, government, and not-for-profit community sector for various issues affecting adults, adolescents, and children.

Maria has diverse experience in private practice, community organisations, vocational and employment settings, disability and group home settings, and within schools. Maria works with individuals, couples, families, and runs counselling groups and professional development workshops for professionals.

Academic Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Psychology (honours) from Macquarie University 

  • Diploma of Psychological Practice from the College of Professional Psychology

  • Master of Clinical Psychology (Advanced) (currently undertaking this course)

  • Member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (MAAPi)
